I have to admit, before working with Silvia, I did not understand the importance of having a good Realtor to work with. I never understood why friends in places I have lived at before would say they knew a good realtor. I assumed it was more or less an intermediary one works with and a transactional business relationship for the most part. Working with Silvia has shown me it is much more, and my wife and I are extremely thankful to Silvia for all that she did for us through the entire process.
Most specifically, amid a very tight housing market in the San Diego/Chula Vista region, her knowledge, guidance, and advocacy for us likely saved us immense amounts of time, and very likely, saved us money in the offer process.
As important, we are relocating from a different region than the San Diego region and could not be in person for many aspects of the closing and house preparation process; she handled aspects of the process that were difficult for us to do in person because we were closing on the house from a distance. While the Mission Realty Group tools, as well as the use of DocuSign with her colleague Brandon Martinez helped immensely in the process, such technological advances in recent years cannot replace the responsiveness, knowledge, professional colleagues, and pure personal professionalism that Silvia provided to us throughout the process--from the very start.
As an aside, I can say that my wife and I have come to know a bit more of Silvia's background through working with her. Without divulging personal details, I can say that Silvia has a very warm heart and comes from a background that allows her to understand the communities in and around San Diego.
